The Dutch Task Force Sustainable Soy has welcomed Rabobank as a new participant. Rabobank has been one of the first members of the Round Table on Responsible Soy and also actively participated in the RTRS Criteria Development Group. Rabobank is the first bank to join the Dutch Task Force. The Rabobank Group places crucial importance on integrating corporate social responsibility and behaviour into the mindset and daily practice of our financial operations and services. In view of the significant social sensitivity associated with a number of specific CSR issues in the soy production, the Dutch Task Force - in line with RTRS - focuses especially on the related practices that are undesirable in Rabobank’s opinion. Rabobank believes that the Dutch Task Force outlines several leading developments towards sustainable soy production and provides insights into the chain responsibility of various parties.
